Like a page from a visual diary, each work records a specific day: the mood, location, season, and time all contribute to the composition, color, and energy of the painting, which is never the same as the previous one.\n\nIn this painting from September 2nd, clusters of small white-green flowers emerge from a dark blue background, illuminated by an emerald green that supports their stems and leaves. Compared to the vibrant bouquets of previous days, here the palette cools and calms: the light becomes lunar, almost phosphorescent, and the corymbs seem suspended in the darkness like nebulae. It is one of the most nocturnal and dreamy pages of this phase of the series, where the flower becomes a silent presence rather than a chromatic explosion.\n\nThe A Day of Flowers project began on August 29, 2025, in Honfleur, Normandy, during a road trip, inspired by a book by David Hockney dedicated to the use of the iPad as a painting tool. From that first attempt in front of a tree, while camping, a daily pact was born: one flower a day as a minimum unit of cultivated beauty. Each work is digitally painted and then printed on cotton paper in its original format and hand-framed by the artist, so that the digital re-enters the physical body of the work, restoring materiality, edge, and shadow.\n\nA Day of Flowers is a meditation on time: not abstract time, but time lived and measured in gestures.
