My Generoso

The photographic series My Generoso expresses the friendship between the artist and the mountain.

Mount Generoso changes its appearance following the slow rhythm of the seasons: sometimes it stands alone, the undisputed ruler of an indigo blue sky; sometimes it is accompanied by clouds, which create changing geometries; more rarely, especially in winter, it disappears, enveloped in fog.

In 2022, a selection of these works was featured in a public photographic exhibition at Fiore di Pietra on Mount Generoso.

The exhibition allowed the mountain to look at itself, returning to the public, at its very summit, the gaze that the artist directs at it every day from the valley.

Frequently asked questions

Is it an original or a reproduction?

All works at CasaGalleria.ART are originals by Yuri Catania, made by hand in the atelier: unique pieces or numbered and signed limited editions. We do not sell reproductions.
Can I have a photograph in a different size from the one shown?

Yes, but only in a larger size. Write to us with the artwork and the dimensions you would like, and we will prepare a specific quote for you. The maximum print size is 44 inches (111.76 cm) on the short side. A custom-size print still counts towards the edition of 5.
How much does shipping cost?

In Switzerland, insured shipping is free for purchases from CHF 500; in Canton Ticino, delivery is made personally by the artist. Abroad (EU and non-EU), the cost depends on the destination and the size of the artwork and is agreed with you before the order is confirmed. You can also collect the artwork from the gallery in Rovio, by appointment.
