About the artwork
Is it an original or a reproduction?
All artworks at CasaGalleria.ART are originals by Yuri Catania, handmade in the Rovio atelier: unique pieces or numbered and signed limited editions. We do not sell reproductions.
What does “limited edition” mean?
For fine art photographs that are not unique pieces, the artist produces a maximum of 5 prints per image, regardless of size: the 5 prints are the total for that subject, not 5 per size. In addition, there are 2 artist's proofs (AP), which Yuri Catania reserves for exhibitions and art fairs and which are not for sale. Each print is numbered and signed and is printed when you order, never in advance: you receive a print made for you. Once the edition is sold out, the image is never printed again. The price shown refers to the print available at the time of purchase.
Can I have a photograph in a different size from the one shown?
Yes, but only in a larger size. Write to us with the artwork and the dimensions you would like, and we will prepare a specific quote. The maximum print size is 44 inches (111.76 cm) on the short side. A custom-size print still counts towards the edition of 5.
Does the artwork come with a certificate of authenticity?
Yes. Every artwork comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist, stating the title, year, technique, dimensions and, for editions, the print number. Keep it with the artwork: it is required for any return.
Is the artwork already framed?
Unique works are delivered framed, in the frame chosen by the artist for that piece; for works valued above CHF 1,500, the frame is made by Yuri Catania in the atelier.
For editioned photographic prints, we agree on delivery together: rolled in a tube, or mounted on a rigid support and framed. Write to us before or right after ordering and we will explain the options.
What is the UV torch and what happens in the dark?
Works from the Yuri in Wonderland series contain UV-fluorescent pigments that are invisible in daylight. In the dark, lit with the UV torch supplied with the artwork, the image reveals a hidden second layer.
How should I care for and clean the artwork?
Avoid direct sunlight and damp rooms. Clean only with a soft, dry cloth, without detergents. The technical details of each artwork list its materials and support; for specific questions, write to us.
Why can't I see the price of some artworks?
Artworks up to CHF 1,500 can be bought directly online. For higher-value works, we prefer direct contact: click “Request price” or write to us and you will receive the price, availability and delivery terms, usually within 48 working hours.
About purchasing
How much does shipping cost?
In Canton Ticino, delivery is free and made personally by the artist. Elsewhere in Switzerland and abroad (EU and non-EU), the cost depends on the destination and the size of the artwork and is agreed with you before the order is confirmed. You can also collect the artwork from the gallery in Rovio, by appointment.
When will I receive the artwork?
Each artwork is prepared and packed individually; editioned photographs are printed when the order is placed. From order confirmation, we take up to two working weeks to prepare the artwork, make its dedicated packaging, arrange delivery or courier shipping and prepare any documents. Transit time is additional and starts from shipment: for international orders it depends on the destination and is communicated on confirmation. For special requirements, please add a note to your order or write to us.
Which payment methods do you accept?
For artworks available online, payment is made when ordering, using the methods offered at checkout: credit and debit cards, TWINT and the main digital wallets. For all other artworks, payment terms and timing are agreed with CasaGalleria.ART on a case-by-case basis.
Does the price include VAT?
Yes. All prices are in Swiss francs and include Swiss VAT at 8.1%. For shipments outside Switzerland, any import duties and VAT are paid by the recipient according to the rules of the destination country.
Can I return the artwork?
Yes, within 14 days of delivery. Swiss law does not provide a right of withdrawal for distance sales: this is a guarantee we offer our collectors voluntarily. The artwork must be returned undamaged, in its original packaging and with the certificate of authenticity. Return shipping costs are borne by you; we cover the transport insurance for the return. Please write to us before sending it back: the refund is made within 10 working days of receipt and inspection of the artwork.
Can I cancel my order?
Yes, up until the artwork is shipped, with a full refund. Write to hello@casagalleria.art or send a WhatsApp message to +41 79 137 31 11.
Are there artworks that cannot be returned?
Yes: commissioned works and site-specific works, created for a specific place or client. All other artworks can be returned within 14 days.
Price on request and assisted purchase
How does a price request work?
Fill in the “Request price” form or write to us mentioning the artwork. We usually reply within 48 working hours with the price, availability and delivery options, with no obligation on your part.
Can I see the artwork in person before deciding?
Yes. The gallery-atelier in Rovio welcomes visitors by appointment: you can see the artwork, visit the atelier and the garden, and talk with the artist. Book a visit from the Contact page.
Can I reserve an artwork while I decide?
Yes. On request, we can reserve an artwork for an agreed period. Write to us and we will explain the terms.
Can I pay in instalments?
We do not offer financing or instalment payments through the online shop. For higher-value artworks, handled directly with CasaGalleria.ART, we normally ask for a 50% deposit on confirmation and the balance on delivery. Other arrangements can be agreed together when the quote is prepared.
Can I see how the artwork would look in my space?
Each artwork page shows the piece to scale in a sample room. If you are considering an artwork, send us a photo of your wall with a reference measurement: we will prepare a to-scale simulation in your space.
Do you create commissioned works?
Yes. Yuri Catania creates commissioned works and site-specific interventions such as murals and installations. Write to us and tell us about your project.
Shipping and logistics
Do you ship abroad?
Yes, to the European Union and the rest of the world, by courier, with custom packaging and insurance. The cost is agreed before the order is confirmed. We prepare the export documents.
Who pays import duties and VAT?
They are paid by the recipient, in accordance with the regulations of the destination country. We support you at every step and provide the necessary documents.
Is the artwork insured during transport?
Yes, for the entire journey, from the atelier to delivery.
What if the artwork arrives damaged?
Let us know within 48 hours of receipt, with photographs of the artwork and the packaging, and keep the packaging. We will assess the case and agree on restoration, replacement or a refund.
How is the artwork packed?
Each artwork is protected with materials chosen according to its technique and size. Large formats travel in custom-made packaging.
Do you offer home delivery and installation?
Yes. In Ticino, delivery and hanging of the artwork are included: we simply agree on a date together. Elsewhere in Switzerland, we arrange both based on a quote and then set the date. On request, we can also advise you on placement.

Who is Yuri Catania?
A visual artist born in Milan in 1975, he has lived and worked in Canton Ticino since 2013. His practice spans photography, painting and sculpture, in works created and produced by hand in his atelier.
What is CasaGalleria.ART?
The gallery-atelier of Yuri Catania and Silvia Torricelli in Rovio, at the foot of Monte Generoso: an old house where artworks are created, exhibited and sold, and a garden that is the source of much of the artist's inspiration.
Are the artworks made in Rovio?
Yes. All artworks are handmade in the Rovio atelier, in Canton Ticino.
