Silvia Torricelli
A jurist, entrepreneur, and communication expert, Silvia Torricelli realized her dream in 2021 to create an art space immersed in nature, a place where private and professional life intertwine in welcoming a selected audience.
Today, this space is the atelier of artist Yuri Catania, who creates and produces his works by hand here.
Art has invaded every room of the house-atelier, transforming the visit into an immersive experience, where the boundary between artistic production and the place that hosts it becomes one and the same.

Yuri Catania
Yuri Catania is a multidisciplinary visual artist and co-founder of CasaGalleria.ART.
His practice explores the moon, space and nature: works born where dream meets the reality he lives every day, starting from the flowers in the garden of his home and atelier.
He works across different media, constantly experimenting and researching through hands-on practice in his atelier, where he conceives and produces everything himself, from the initial idea to the printing of photographs, from sculpture to painting.
Since 2013 his work has been shown in group and solo exhibitions and at international institutions, including the Palais de Tokyo in Paris, Galerie Perrotin, the Erarta Museum in St Petersburg and the Candiani centre in Venice, and it is held in public and private collections in Switzerland, including those of BancaStato, Credinvest Bank, Raiffeisen Mendrisio and Migros, as well as in Italy, Austria, France, Germany, the United States and Japan.

Where to find us
CasaGalleria.ART is located in Rovio, an ancient village in Val Mara, at the foot of Monte Generoso, a few kilometers from Lugano and the Italian border, and 75 km from the city of Milan.
A historic house-atelier, nestled in the nature of Italian Switzerland, where artworks are displayed in the very place they are created.
Visits are by appointment.
